Civil Aviation

Civil aviation is one of two major catagories of flying, representing non-military aviation, both private and commercial. Most of the countries in the world are members of the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) and work together to establish common standards and recommended practices for civil aviation through that agency.

There are two main types of civil aviation:

Scheduled Air Transport - this includes

all passenger and cargo flights operating regularly scheduled routes.

General Aviation - this covers

all other civil flights, private or commercial.

787 in Dublin

A380 new sales

The boeing 787 visited Dublin for the first time on January 25th. It was in the hangar the whole time and was here as a European Airfinance Conference was in town and was hoping for some sales.

Airbus is said to be negotiating with the two major middle east players for more A380 sales. The only delay for the order is the delivery date cannot be agreed.
